About the role#
This unpaid internship provides students with real-world experience within a television news department. The program is designed for aspiring broadcast journalists seeking hands-on training in a local newsroom environment. What you'll do#
- Work alongside reporters, photojournalists, and producers.
- Gain practical knowledge of newsroom operations and production workflows.
- Follow instructions from station staff and exert best efforts to complete training.
- Maintain strict confidentiality regarding company data, trade secrets, and business information.
- Adhere to all company safety rules and procedures.
What you'll need#
- Current status as a junior or senior studying broadcast journalism, video production, or other communication degrees.
- Enrollment in a program that requires the internship for school credit.
- Advanced skill level to handle the complexity of assigned projects.

- Previous internship experience is considered a plus.
