Anduril Internships: 2027 Guide

Anduril internships cover 36 open roles in engineering, software, operations and supply chain, with terms and the U.S. Person rule.

Anduril internships on Intern Insider are mostly Summer 2027 internships and Winter 2027 co-ops, and nearly all of them require U.S. Person status. When this guide was written, the Anduril Industries page listed 36 open internships, and 1 of them is new this week.

Twenty listings are marked Summer 2027 only. Fourteen are marked Winter 2027 only. One manufacturing co-op lists both terms. The finance listing is marked Rolling. Thirty-four of the 36 state a U.S. Person requirement. Cities, terms, and eligibility below are as listed on Intern Insider at the time of writing, except where a sentence names a page on anduril.com. The posting you apply through is the final word on its own terms.

What Anduril internships look like in 2027#

The Anduril Industries company page describes Anduril as a privately held defense and space manufacturer headquartered in Orange County, California. The about section says the company develops technology for national security, defense, and artificial intelligence, names Orange County, Washington DC, Seattle, Boston, Atlanta, London, and Sydney, and says the organization employs over 8,000 people. The same card lists company size as 1,001-5,000 employees and an employee count of 8,940. The 36 open listings are in the United States.

Anduril's homepage describes Anduril Industries as an American defense technology company that specializes in advanced autonomous systems, and lists a founding date in 2017. The early careers page describes internships as 12-week programs for students currently pursuing a degree. It says interns receive competitive compensation, mentorship, summer programming, and the potential opportunity to join full time. It says Anduril provides relocation support for interns who are not local to the office, sponsors social and educational events for interns and new graduates during summer programs, and pairs each intern with a manager. Early career roles on that page are separate: full-time permanent jobs for recent graduates, typically zero to two years after graduation, including a bootcamp for software and hardware engineers. That bootcamp is not one of the 36 listings.

The early careers page names software, electrical, mechanical, manufacturing, and aerospace, plus supply chain, finance, marketing, and design. It tells you to check live postings because locations change. The defense and space manufacturing internships page listed 1,136 open roles at the time of writing. A naval architect co-op is not among the 36, so this guide does not link it.

    Summer 2027 listings#

Four Summer 2027 listings share Atlanta, Boston, Costa Mesa, Irvine, and Seattle. Each is a paid, on-site, 12-week internship, and each requires you to be a rising senior. That phrase is a class year.

    • 2027 Software Engineer Intern: bachelor's degree in computer science, computer or software engineering, mathematics, or physics, and a return to school afterward.

That listing says sponsorship is not available. Industrial Engineer Intern in Ashville, Ohio, or Costa Mesa. Quality & Test Engineer Intern in Ashville, Costa Mesa, Irvine, Quonset, Rhode Island, or Santa Ana.

Operations and design: Business Operations Intern in Costa Mesa or Seattle, for business operations or business analytics. Business Operations Engineer Intern in Ashville or Costa Mesa. Product Designer Intern in Costa Mesa, for a design degree, on software for autonomous systems and command and control. Technical Program Manager Intern in Costa Mesa, Honolulu, Reston, Seattle, or Washington, DC. The title uses the word manager. The listing asks for a student in a bachelor's or master's program who will return to school.

Our computer science internships guide and mechanical engineering internships guide cover those fields at other employers. At the time of writing, the software engineering internships page listed 1,567 open roles, the mechanical engineering internships page listed 968, and the electrical engineering internships page listed 1,188. The Summer 2027 internships page listed 19,642.

    Winter 2027 co-ops#

Most of these listings describe 16 to 24 weeks on site. The reliability and research listings do not state a week count.

In Quincy: Software Engineer Co-op lists 42 to 60 US dollars per hour. Mechanical Engineer Co-op lists 34 to 50 US dollars per hour and asks students to return to academic studies afterward. Robotics Engineer Co-op, Systems Engineer Co-op, and Supply Chain Analyst Co-op are in Quincy as well. Manufacturing Engineer Co-op lists Lexington and Quincy, and both Winter 2027 and Summer 2027. Its week line says 16 to 24 weeks in summer 2027. Electrical Engineer Co-op lists Costa Mesa or Quincy.

In Costa Mesa: Propulsion Engineer Co-op lists 34 to 50 US dollars per hour. EWIS Harness Engineer Co-op covers electrical wiring and interconnect systems. Reliability Engineer Co-op states compensation as "$40, $48 per hour."

Research Engineer Co-op is in Santa Ana for computer science or computer engineering, and it does not state a U.S. Person line. Library Science Co-op is the new listing this week: 16 to 24 weeks in Santa Ana, for library science, information science, knowledge management, archival studies, linguistics, or a related field. Business Operations Engineer Co-op lists Ashville or Costa Mesa. Quality & Test Engineer Co-op lists Ashville or Santa Ana. Its term line says Winter 2027, and the same posting also describes a 12-week internship in summer 2027, so read both lines. Technical Program Management Co-op is in Washington, DC, for a student in electrical, computer, aerospace, or mechanical engineering. The Winter 2027 internships page listed 5,698 open roles at the time of writing.

Finance internship with a rolling term#

The Finance Data Analyst Intern listing is on-site in Costa Mesa. The term line says Rolling. It asks for a bachelor's or master's degree in finance, accounting, economics, data science, statistics, computer science, or information systems, and for graduation between December 2027 and June 2028. It asks for authorization to work in the United States and does not say U.S. Person. The work sits with the Enterprise selling, general, and administrative team in corporate finance, on data pipelines, dashboards, and tools that use artificial intelligence.

Our finance internships guide covers other employers. At the time of writing, the finance field page listed 4,531 open internships for finance students, and the business administration field page listed 11,338.

    Who can apply#

U.S. Person status is on 34 of the 36 listings, usually for access to export-controlled information. Some add that eligibility for a U.S. clearance may be required. The finance listing asks only for United States work authorization. The research co-op states neither line.

The early careers page gives the company rule. Because of national security work and U.S. regulations, including International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), Anduril says it cannot sponsor F-1 visa students. That page says you must be a U.S. citizen, a lawful permanent resident, a protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or otherwise eligible for the authorizations the U.S. Department of State requires. The systems engineer internship repeats the sponsorship limit.

The same page says internships are for students pursuing a degree, including master's and PhD candidates. The four multi-city summer listings ask for a rising senior. Many others ask you to return to school for at least one more term. The finance listing asks for graduation between December 2027 and June 2028.

None of the 36 listings states a grade point average (GPA) cutoff. The early careers page says there is no hard minimum, and that strong candidates typically have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.

    When and how to apply#

None of the 36 listings states an employer deadline. Intern Insider shows a recommended apply-by window on each posting, and that window is not an employer deadline. For 35 of the 36, the window shown at the time of writing falls between 1 November 2026 and 14 December 2026. The library science co-op is the exception. Its recommended window has already passed, so this guide does not print it.

The early careers page says review is rolling and that each cycle draws tens of thousands of applications. A recruiter writes when there is a possible fit. If you do not hear back, the page says the team moved on for that cohort and that you can apply again. The steps it lists are a recruiter call, technical and behavioral interviews, and a role-specific assessment such as live coding, a presentation, or a technical discussion.

Recheck the Anduril Industries page on the day you apply. Anduril also publishes the early careers page and an open roles page. The careers page says Anduril will not ask you to pay, or for bank details, a credit card number, or a Social Security number, and that recruiter email comes from an @anduril.com address. Pay#

All 36 listings are marked paid. Four state a figure, as listed at the time of writing.

    ListingFigure on the posting
Mechanical Engineer Co-op$34 to $50 per hour
Propulsion Engineer Co-op$34 to $50 per hour
Software Engineer Co-op$42 to $60 per hour
Reliability Engineer Co-op$40, $48 per hour

The early careers page calls compensation competitive and says relocation support is available when you are not local. If the listing has no number, ask once a recruiter is in contact.
