About the role#
We are looking for Software Engineer Co-ops to join us for the Winter 2027 term. You will work on real projects that have a direct impact on our mission. This is a paid, full-time, in-person position based in Quincy, Massachusetts.
What you'll do#
- Support software solutions deployed to customers and key stakeholders.
- Write code to improve products and scale mission capability.
- Collaborate across multiple teams to plan, build, and test complex functionality.
- Create and analyze metrics for debugging and monitoring systems.
- Triage issues, identify root causes, and coordinate next steps.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor’s or master’s program for Computer Science, Computer or Software Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field.
- Intent to return to school following the internship to continue academic studies for at least one semester or quarter.
- Ability to complete an in-person 16 to 24-week internship.
- Status as a U.S. Person, as this role involves access to export-controlled information.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C++, Go, Rust, Java, or Python.
- Familiarity with algorithms, data structures, storage systems, cloud infrastructure, and front-end frameworks.
- A low-ego, mission-oriented mindset with a bias for action.
- U.S. clearance eligibility may be required depending on the specific program.
