About the role#
The AD&S Operations team builds software solutions to help our division scale through growth. We are looking for an ambitious intern to help us accelerate our product development. You will build an ecosystem of operational software that uses data and AI to help us build and operate hardware at scale.
What you'll do#
- Embed with engineers to understand their workflows and identify critical bottlenecks.
- Develop operational apps in a scrappy and effective way.
- Identify and structure data systems to build tailored, data-driven solutions.
- Work with users to iterate on and support outcomes.
- Build infrastructure that allows applications to mature and scale in the field.
- Collaborate with the corporate Analytics team to expand our ontologies and generalize applications across the company.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, or a related field.
- Must be returning to school at the end of the internship.
- Must be a U.S. Person due to export-controlled information. U.S. clearance eligibility may be required.
- Engineering fundamentals and a deep interest in the intersection of analytics and the physical hardware world.
- Ability to own a project end-to-end from ambiguity to a scalable outcome.
- Experience coding in Python, SQL, React, TypeScript, or equivalent.
- Exposure to data systems such as dbt, Redshift, Looker, Tableau, Databricks, or Palantir Foundry.

- Term: Summer 2027.
- Duration: 12-week in-person internship.
- Locations: Costa Mesa, California, or Ashville, Ohio.
- Status: Full-time and paid.
