About the role#
This internship provides an opportunity to work with the systems engineering team on new products. You will help translate customer requirements into technical solutions. This is a full-time, 12-week program taking place during the summer of 2027.
What you'll do#
- Assist the systems engineering team in building new products to meet customer requirements.
- Contribute technical inputs to engineering execution plans.
- Develop tools to support the oversight of multi-disciplinary engineering teams.
- Help develop processes for mission and system-level trade studies and analysis, balancing risk, cost, and performance.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor’s or master’s program in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field.
- Intent to return to school for at least one quarter or semester following the internship.
- Ability to work on-site for 12 weeks in summer 2027.
- Status as a U.S. Person.
- Strong technical fundamentals and communication skills.
- Experience with Matlab and Linux.
- A working knowledge of systems engineering principles.
