About the role#
As an Industrial Engineer Intern, you will join our Manufacturing Engineering organization to help optimize our operations. You will work alongside experienced Industrial Engineers to improve quality, reliability, speed, and asset utilization across our production facilities. This is a 12-week, full-time, in-person internship for Summer 2027.
What you'll do#
- Lead projects to optimize systems, processes, and manufacturing operations using a data-driven approach.
- Identify improvement opportunities, including addressing high-variation processes, line imbalances, equipment constraints, and staffing shortages.
- Collaborate with teams across Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Engineering, and Quality to prioritize and resolve issues.
- Translate production metrics, such as cycle time, throughput, capacity, utilization, and first pass yield, into actionable improvements.
- Develop and maintain capacity plans, balanced line layouts, staffing allocations, and time standards.
- Work across the full range of operations, from immediate execution tasks to the strategic future state of our product lines.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field.
- Must be returning to school at the end of the internship to continue studies for at least one semester or quarter.
- Ability to complete a 12-week, in-person internship during Summer 2027.
- Must be a U.S. Person due to access requirements for U.S. export-controlled information or facilities.
- U.S. clearance eligibility may be required depending on the specific program.
