We are seeking Mechanical Engineer Interns for Summer 2027! This is a paid, in-person, 12 week internship. WHAT YOU’LL DO Design & build prototypes, analyze failures, and transition successful projects into production. Present design reviews, run analysis, visit vendors, design & execute hardware test plans. Use first principles physics as a basis for every decision. Travel to test sites and vendors as needed. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Pursuing a Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or any related field. Must be a rising senior at the time of the internship and returning to school at the end of the internship to continue academic studies for at least one quarter/semester. Collegiate project team or laboratory experience. Currently enrolled in an undergrad or graduate engineering program. CAD skills (any platform) and ability to make high quality engineering drawings that meet common industry standards. Demonstrated hands-on fabrication skills. High competence with, and fluid use of, engineering first principles. U.S. Person status is required as this position needs to access export-controlled data. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Prior internship experience and/or leadership on a collegiate project team or laboratory. Experience in NX/Teamcenter and/or Solidworks. Experience with FEA and/or CFD analysis tools. Ability to integrate electrical components into designs (motors, controllers, sensors etc.). Experience with machining, sheet metal, injection molding, and 3D printing. US Salary Range$30—$45 USDThe salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only.
