About the role#
This is a paid, full-time, 12-week internship for Summer 2027. Interns will work on-site to support the design and development of defense technology systems. This role requires U.S. Person status to access export-controlled data.
What you'll do#
- Design and build prototypes while utilizing engineering first principles for all decision-making.
- Analyze failures and transition successful projects into production.
- Present design reviews and run technical analysis.
- Visit vendors and design or execute hardware test plans.
- Travel to test sites and vendor locations as needed.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program in Mechanical Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field.
- Must be a rising senior at the time of the internship and returning to school afterward to continue studies.
- Demonstrated hands-on fabrication skills and collegiate project team or laboratory experience.
- Proficiency in CAD software and the ability to produce high-quality engineering drawings that meet industry standards.
