About the role#
The Campaign Fundraising Director for Student Visionaries of the Year leads staff teams in the Tampa and Jacksonville markets to advance the mission of Blood Cancer United. This role focuses on building relationships with constituents and implementing peer-to-peer fundraising strategies to meet revenue goals.
What you'll do#
- Partner with Education Services and Health Research departments to communicate the organization's mission, programs, and priorities.
- Create and implement an annual strategic plan to ensure the team exceeds revenue targets.
- Recruit, cultivate, and train high-level volunteer committees and leaders.
- Organize mission-centered local donor cultivation events and prospect high-impact donors.
- Manage, hire, and develop peer-to-peer fundraising staff.
- Retain and upgrade sponsorships for all fundraising products.
What you'll need#
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- 7-8 years of relatable experience.
- A demonstrated track record of success in fundraising or related fields.
- Proven ability to develop and lead high-performing teams.
- Comfort with managing detailed operational tasks as necessary.
- Relevant academic background in fields such as Business Administration, Marketing, Public Health, Communications, Sociology, Philosophy, Political Science, or Psychology.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid position based on-site in Tampa, FL, or Jacksonville, FL.
- The role requires local travel up to 30%.
- Availability to work some evenings or weekends is required.
