About the role#
As the Campaign Development Director for Student Visionaries of the Year, you will lead staff teams and build strong relationships with constituents to drive our mission. You are responsible for creating and implementing an annual strategic plan to meet revenue targets. This role requires a balance of high-level planning and attention to detail as you manage fundraising efforts within the Detroit market.
What you'll do#
- Lead, hire, and train peer to peer fundraising teams.
- Organize mission-centered donor cultivation events.
- Prospect high-impact donors for national stewardship.
- Recruit and support high-level volunteer committees.
- Achieve revenue goals through innovative fundraising products.
- Partner with internal departments to communicate organizational priorities.
What you'll need#
- A Bachelor’s Degree.
- 7-8 years of relevant experience.
- A proven track record of success.
- Demonstrated ability to develop high-performing teams.
- Comfort with getting into the details as necessary.
- Academic background in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Psychology, or Human Resources is preferred.

- Location: Detroit, Michigan.
- Modality: On-site.
- Schedule: Full-time, with some evenings and weekends required.
- Travel: Local travel up to 30%.
