About the role#
Blood Cancer United is seeking a Campaign Fundraising Manager III to drive high-impact peer-to-peer fundraising in the Sacramento area. This role focuses on building relationships with fundraising volunteers and implementing innovative strategies to exceed revenue goals. You will work to advance the organizational mission by communicating programs, resources, and priorities to the community.
What you'll do#
- Partner with the Education, Services, and Health Research departments to communicate the organization's mission and priorities.
- Drive high-impact peer-to-peer fundraising to meet revenue targets.
- Recruit fundraising volunteers and cultivate high-level volunteer committees to support revenue growth.
- Develop recruitment plans and secure new partners through independent research, prospecting, and relationship building.
- Execute an annual strategic plan and revise it periodically to ensure team goals are surpassed.
What you'll need#
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- 4 to 6 years of experience in a directly relatable role.
- Excellent skills in relationship building, volunteer recruitment, and sales.
- Proficiency in the MS Office Suite.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
