About the role#
The UNIQLO Store Management Internship is a 10-week summer program designed for students interested in retail leadership. Interns gain hands-on experience on the sales floor, working alongside store staff to support daily operations and develop management skills. This role serves as a potential pathway to the UNIQLO Management Candidate program for top performers.
What you'll do#
- Assist with customer service, product merchandising, and daily store operations.
- Serve as Manager on Duty during shifts to help lead operations and motivate the team.
- Collaborate on a project focused on improving store operations or customer experience.
- Present project results and findings to store and corporate leaders at the end of the program.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an accredited undergraduate or graduate program, sophomore level or above.
- Previous experience in retail, hospitality, or food and beverage sectors.
- Ability to work at least 30 hours per week in-store.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
- Availability to attend an in-person orientation at the New York City office.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and basic retail math.
