About the role#
Blood Cancer United is looking for a Senior Campaign Fundraising Manager to lead fundraising efforts in New York. You will build relationships with volunteers and implement peer-to-peer fundraising strategies to meet revenue goals. This role involves managing high-profile campaigns and working closely with internal departments to communicate the organization's mission.
What you'll do#
- Partner with the Education, Services and Health Research department to communicate the mission, programs, and priorities of Blood Cancer United.
- Drive peer-to-peer fundraising initiatives to reach revenue targets.
- Recruit and cultivate high-level volunteer committees.
- Identify and network with donors to secure support for fundraising products.
- Develop recruitment plans and secure new partners through independent research and prospecting.
- Organize local donor cultivation events.
What you'll need#
- A bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- At least 6 years of experience in a directly relatable role.
- Proficiency with the MS Office Suite.
- Knowledge of multiple sales channels, including digital and social media.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities and timelines simultaneously.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to lead groups of volunteers.

- Modality: This is an on-site, full-time position.
- Travel: You will be required to travel within the designated area.
- Schedule: The role requires some evening and weekend work.
