About the role#
The Campaign Fundraising Manager II for the Student Visionaries of the Year program focuses on building relationships with fundraising volunteers and implementing peer-to-peer fundraising initiatives. This role is responsible for driving revenue growth within the South Bay market area to support the mission of Blood Cancer United.
What you'll do#
- Partner with the Education, Services, and Health Research departments to communicate the organization's mission and priorities.
- Drive high-impact peer-to-peer fundraising to meet or exceed established revenue goals.
- Recruit and cultivate fundraising volunteers and high-level volunteer committees.
- Organize local donor cultivation events and prospect for high-impact donors.
- Develop recruitment plans and secure new partners through independent research and networking.
What you'll need#
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- 2 to 4 years of experience in a directly relatable role.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
- Knowledge of multiple sales channels, including digital and social media.
- Proven ability to influence and persuade others.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and lead groups of volunteers.

- Requirements: Ability to travel within the designated area and work occasional evenings or weekends. Must be able to move campaign materials weighing up to 15 pounds.
