About the role#
As a Campaign Fundraising Manager for the Student Visionaries of the Year program, you will build relationships with fundraising volunteers and implement peer to peer fundraising strategies. This role focuses on driving revenue goals within a designated market area while advancing the mission of Blood Cancer United. You will work closely with local teams and national partners to support program initiatives.
What you'll do#
- Partner with the Education, Services, and Health Research department to communicate organizational programs and priorities.
- Drive high-impact peer to peer fundraising to meet revenue goals.
- Cultivate fundraising volunteers and identify new constituents and key donors.
- Organize mission-centered, local donor cultivation events.
- Develop recruitment plans and secure new partners through research and networking.
- Manage multiple priorities while supervising groups of volunteers.
- Adjust working hours as needed, including evenings and weekends, to support student and family engagement.
What you'll need#
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- 1-2 years of relevant experience.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Detail-oriented approach to project management.
- Demonstrated knowledge of digital, social media, and emerging online channels.
- Proficiency with the MS Office Suite.
- Ability to lift and move campaign materials weighing up to 15 pounds.
- Preferred majors include Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Public Health, Psychology, or Sociology.
