About the role#
As a Campaign Fundraising Manager III, you will focus on the Student Visionaries of the Year campaign. This role involves building relationships with fundraising volunteers and implementing peer-to-peer fundraising strategies to meet revenue goals within the Houston market. You will work to advance the mission of Blood Cancer United by engaging donors and supporting student participants.
What you'll do#
- Partner with the Education, Services, and Health Research department to communicate organizational programs and priorities.
- Drive high-impact peer-to-peer fundraising efforts and support campaign team members in reaching their goals.
- Cultivate and recruit fundraising volunteers through independent research and networking.
- Identify and network with key donors and constituents to secure support for fundraising initiatives.
- Organize mission-centered, local donor cultivation events.
- Collaborate with local and national teams to develop and execute strategic fundraising plans.
What you'll need#
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- 1-2 years of relevant professional experience.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Detail-oriented approach with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Demonstrated proficiency in digital media, social media, and emerging online channels.
- Ability to supervise volunteer groups.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
Location & details#
- Location: Houston, Texas.
- Modality: On-site.
- Schedule: Flexibility to work evenings and weekends is required to accommodate student and family schedules. Travel within the designated area is expected. You may occasionally need to move campaign materials weighing up to 15 pounds.
