About the role#
This position focuses on building relationships with fundraising volunteers and implementing peer-to-peer fundraising products to meet revenue goals. You will work within a designated market area to advance the mission of Blood Cancer United. This is a full-time, paid role with a hybrid work schedule.
What you'll do#
- Drive high-impact peer-to-peer fundraising to achieve revenue goals.
- Recruit and cultivate fundraising volunteers and high-level volunteer committees to support revenue growth.
- Partner with the Education, Services, and Health Research department to communicate the organization's mission, programs, and priorities.
- Organize mission-centered local donor cultivation events and prospect high-impact donors for national stewardship.
- Collaborate with the local relationship team and national shared service partners.
- Identify and network with constituents to engage their support through independent research and relationship building.
What you'll need#
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 3-5 years of relevant experience.
- Ability to supervise groups of volunteers and manage multiple priorities.
- Demonstrated knowledge of digital and social media channels.
- Proficiency in the MS Office Suite.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.

- Location: Washington, DC.
- Modality: Hybrid.
- Physical requirements include the ability to move campaign materials weighing up to 15 pounds.
- Travel within the designated area is required.
- Availability to work some evenings or weekends is required.
