About the role#
The Campaign Fundraising Director leads multiple staff teams to build and maintain relationships with constituents. You will implement peer to peer fundraising products to exceed revenue goals for the organization within the Baltimore market area. This role reports to the Executive Director and involves managing Campaign Development Managers, volunteers, and committees.
What you'll do#
- Partner with Education Services and Health Research departments to communicate the Blood Cancer United mission, programs, and priorities.
- Organize local donor cultivation events and prospect high-impact donors for national stewardship.
- Create and implement an annual strategic plan to ensure the team exceeds revenue targets.
- Teach, train, and consult fundraising staff and volunteer leaders.
- Recruit and cultivate high-level volunteer committees.
- Manage the hiring, development, and training of peer to peer fundraising teams.
- Collaborate to grow volunteer and corporate relationships.
What you'll need#
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- 7-8 years of relatable experience.
- Demonstrated track record of success.
- Demonstrated ability to develop high performing teams.
- Comfort with getting into the details as necessary.
Location & details#
- Location: Baltimore, Maryland.
- Modality: On-site.
- Schedule: Full-time position. Requires local travel up to 30 percent and some evening or weekend work.
- Term: Rolling.
