About the role#
This position supports the mission of Blood Cancer United by managing fundraising efforts and building volunteer relationships. You will work within a designated market area to implement peer-to-peer fundraising strategies that meet revenue goals. The role requires collaboration with internal teams to communicate organizational priorities and mission-centered programs.
What you'll do#
- Build and maintain relationships with fundraising volunteers.
- Recruit volunteers for fundraising products to drive revenue growth.
- Organize local donor cultivation events focused on the organization's mission.
- Identify and network with key donors and constituents to secure support.
- Drive high-impact peer-to-peer fundraising campaigns.
- Develop and execute annual strategic plans to meet budget and revenue targets.
What you'll need#
- A bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
- Two to four years of experience in a directly relatable role.
- Proficiency with the MS Office Suite.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and timelines effectively.
- Experience in volunteer recruitment, sales, and relationship building.

- Location: Seattle, Washington.
- Work Modality: Hybrid.
- Employment: This is a full-time, paid position.
- Requirements: You may need to move campaign materials weighing up to 15 pounds and travel within the designated area. The role requires working some evenings or weekends.
