About the role#
As the Campaign Fundraising Director for Student Visionaries of the Year, you will lead staff teams and build relationships with constituents in the Jacksonville area. You will manage peer to peer fundraising efforts to meet revenue goals and support the mission of Blood Cancer United. This is a full-time, hybrid position.
What you'll do#
- Create and implement an annual strategic plan to ensure your team hits revenue targets.
- Recruit and cultivate high-level volunteer committees and corporate relationships.
- Hire, train, and manage fundraising staff.
- Partner with the Education Services and Health Research departments to communicate organizational priorities.
- Organize local donor cultivation events and identify prospects for national stewardship.
- Travel locally up to 30 percent of the time and work occasional evenings or weekends.
What you'll need#
- A Bachelor's Degree.
- 7 to 8 years of relevant experience.
- A demonstrated track record of success in fundraising or management.
- Proven ability to build and lead high performing teams.
- Comfort with managing detailed operational tasks.
