About the role#
The Campaign Development Director for Visionaries & Student Visionaries of the Year leads multiple staff teams to advance the mission of Blood Cancer United. This role focuses on building constituent relationships and implementing peer-to-peer fundraising strategies to exceed revenue goals within the Albany market. You will be responsible for creating and executing an innovative annual strategic plan while managing, training, and developing fundraising staff.
What you'll do#
- Lead, hire, and develop high-performing peer-to-peer fundraising teams.
- Organize local donor cultivation events and identify prospects for national stewardship.
- Collaborate to grow volunteer and corporate relationships across the market.
- Recruit and support high-level volunteer committees and leaders.
- Implement strategic plans to ensure revenue goals are met or exceeded.
- Maintain and upgrade sponsorships for all fundraising products.
- Partner with internal departments to communicate the organization's mission and research priorities.
What you'll need#
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, Communications, or Psychology.
- 7-8 years of relatable professional experience.
- A demonstrated track record of success in fundraising or related fields.
- Proven ability to build and develop high-performing teams.
- Comfort with managing operational details as necessary.
