About the role#
This internship focuses on energy planning and management projects within the BMW Group manufacturing environment. The role is a full-time, paid position based on-site in Spartanburg, South Carolina, for the Summer 2027 term.
What you'll do#
- Assist with energy planning and management initiatives.
- Conduct research regarding energy policies and industry best practices.
- Analyze data concerning energy consumption and sustainability metrics.
- Collaborate with team members to support project implementation.
- Prepare reports and presentations for various stakeholders.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree program related to Environmental Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, Public Health, Political Science, Sociology, or Statistics.
- Understanding of energy systems and management practices.
- Experience with research methodology and data analysis.
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of renewable energy technologies.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
