About the role#
The Assembly Manufacturing Engineer Co-op position is a full-time, paid opportunity for the Winter 2027 term. This role is based on-site in Spartanburg, South Carolina, and requires the student to work directly with the manufacturing team in a motor vehicle production environment.
What you'll do#
- Assist in the assembly process on the production floor.
- Conduct quality checks to ensure adherence to standards.
- Collaborate with engineers on design projects.
- Document production processes and workflows.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance manufacturing efficiency.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree program for Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, Chemical, Civil, Biomedical, or Aerospace Engineering, or Business Administration.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes.
- Familiarity with CAD software.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
