About the role#
This is a full-time, paid Controls Engineering Co-op position for the Winter 2027 term. You will work on-site at the manufacturing facility to support the engineering department with technical projects and system development.
What you'll do#
- Assist in the design of control systems.
- Conduct tests and evaluations on equipment and processes.
- Participate in project meetings to discuss progress and technical requirements.
- Document results and findings from engineering tasks.
- Support senior engineers with daily operations and specific project assignments.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or Computer Engineering degree program.
- Strong understanding of control systems.
- Experience working with MATLAB.
- Familiarity with PLC programming.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
