About the role#
The Security, Emergency Services, and Investigations Intern will support the safety and security operations at the BMW Group facility in Spartanburg. This is a full-time, paid, on-site internship for the Winter 2027 term.
What you'll do#
- Assist with security assessments to identify potential risks.
- Support the development and maintenance of emergency response planning.
- Conduct investigations into incidents and document findings.
- Prepare detailed reports and required documentation.
- Engage with local law enforcement agencies as necessary.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a degree in Criminal Justice, Public Health, Business Administration, or Human Resources.
- Knowledge of security protocols and emergency response procedures.
- Ability to conduct investigations and draft professional reports.
- Familiarity with emergency management principles.
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong communication skills when interacting with internal and external stakeholders.
