About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship focused on quality management for exterior vehicle parts at the BMW Group facility in Spartanburg, South Carolina. The position is for the Winter 2027 term and requires on-site attendance.
What you'll do#
- Assist with quality control processes for exterior components.
- Conduct inspections of parts to ensure standards are met.
- Collaborate with the engineering team on technical tasks.
- Maintain accurate documentation for quality assurance records.
- Participate in ongoing quality improvement initiatives.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or Logistics.
- Knowledge of quality management principles.
- Ability to analyze parts and components effectively.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools.
