About the role#
This internship position is within the Aerospace, Defense, and Marine business unit. You will support connector product engineering and gain experience in a professional engineering environment. This role is a full-time, paid opportunity for Summer 2027 based on-site in Mount Joy, Pennsylvania.
What you'll do#
- Support connector product engineering tasks within the aerospace, defense, and marine industry.
- Work with product development, manufacturing, quality, and supply chain teams.
- Learn about critical connector product lines and their manufacturing processes.
- Prepare technical documentation, such as engineering drawings, standard work documentation, and test reports.
- Identify opportunities for cost reduction, quality enhancement, and process optimization.
- Develop professional skills in technical communication, problem-solving, and teamwork.
What you'll need#
- High school diploma or GED.
- Current enrollment in or pursuit of a BA/BS degree in Mechanical Engineering at an accredited college or university.
- Equivalent work experience, including consideration for gap year students.
- Authorization to work in the U.S. as this role requires access to information subject to ITAR or EAR controls.
- Prior internship experience or completion of a major project is preferred.
