About the role#
As a Software Engineer Intern for Summer 2027, you will join the Business Technology division to support our daily objectives. This 10-week program focuses on providing real-world experience through project planning, execution, and evaluation. You will meet weekly with the Internship Cohort and leadership to gain exposure to the organization, culminating in a capstone presentation regarding your project work and skill development.
What you'll do#
- Serve as a Developer on an Agile intern team.
- Collaborate with development teams to build and maintain software solutions using Microsoft technologies.
- Gain hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, including managing pipelines and work items.
- Write, debug, and test applications using Java, C#.NET, and Python.
- Participate in Agile processes such as sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Apply best practices in software engineering, including version control and code reviews.
- Contribute to the design of software systems using strategic thinking.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a Sophomore, Junior, or Senior in college.
- Major in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- A minimum GPA of 3.5.
- Ability to work 38.75 hours per week.
- Experience with software development, code repositories, and IDEs.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- A commitment to providing attentive and resourceful customer service.
- Passion for making an impact in local communities.
