About the role#
The Data Analytics Intern will support business goals through reporting, analytics, and process improvement. You will gain hands-on experience in the planning, execution, and evaluation of real-world projects. This 10-week summer program provides mentorship and exposure to how data influences decision-making within the insurance industry.
What you'll do#
- Gain broad exposure to the organization by meeting weekly with the Internship Cohort, Executive Leadership, and division leaders.
- Summarize and present a capstone project covering your accomplishments and key learnings.
- Work within a collaborative, Agile-driven team to support cross-functional efforts.
- Develop an understanding of scalable enterprise data warehouse and BI system architecture.
- Support data analysis by extracting, transforming, and interpreting complex datasets to inform strategic decisions, manage risk, and improve operational efficiency.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelors or Masters degree program in Computer Science, MIS, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- Rising Sophomore, Junior, or Senior status with a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Ability to work 38.75 hours per week.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Ability to provide trustworthy, attentive, and resourceful customer service.
