About the role#
As an Investment Intern, you will support the Investment division through routine and project-based work. You will gain exposure to institutional asset management within an insurance company. This role involves assisting with mortgage loan servicing data and credit profile development while conducting strategic analysis through the planning, execution, and evaluation stages of projects.
What you'll do#
- Support the Mortgage Loan Annual Servicing Project by reviewing property performance updates for over 500 loans.
- Enter reviewed property performance data into mortgage servicing software.
- Assist the Securities team in developing and maintaining credit profiles for debt issuers.
- Organize financial and issuer information for use by investment professionals.
- Meet weekly with the Internship Cohort, Executive Leadership, and division-level leaders.
- Complete a capstone presentation summarizing your project accomplishments and key learnings.
- Use available technology, including approved AI tools, to complete tasks within established timelines.
- Protect confidential business and financial information at all times.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a Sophomore, Junior, or Senior in a college program focused on Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, Economics, or Real Estate.
- A minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Ability to work 38.75 hours per week.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accurate data entry.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Ability to review, organize, and interpret financial information.
- Clear communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
- Sound judgment when handling confidential information.
- Preferred: Working knowledge of the Bloomberg Terminal.
