About the role#
This internship provides practical experience within a professional investment management environment. You will work directly with experienced investment professionals and gain exposure to portfolio management, security analysis, and financial market research. This role is a part-time position for Summer 2027.
What you'll do#
- Participate in the day-to-day processes of the Investments team and assist with special projects.
- Support Portfolio Managers by researching and analyzing prospective and existing securities.
- Maintain investment portfolio analytics and compliance dashboards, including identifying and resolving data quality discrepancies.
- Collect and organize market and economic data to support presentations, reporting, and decision-making.
- Assist with investment-related analysis that contributes to portfolio strategy and performance evaluation.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Understanding of basic investment concepts and financial markets.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated critical thinking and analytical abilities.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- A genuine interest in investing and financial markets.
- Intellectual curiosity and a desire to continuously learn.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
