About the role#
As a Data Analytics Intern, you will participate in analytics, reporting, and process improvement initiatives to support our business goals. You will gain hands-on experience through the planning, execution, and evaluation of real-world projects. This role provides exposure to how data drives decision-making within the insurance industry.
What you'll do#
- Meet weekly with the Internship Cohort, Executive Leadership, and division leaders to gain broad organizational exposure.
- Summarize and present a capstone project covering your accomplishments and key learnings.
- Operate within a collaborative, Agile-driven team environment.
- Develop an understanding of scalable and maintainable enterprise data warehouse and BI system architecture.
- Extract, transform, and interpret complex datasets to support data analysis efforts.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a rising Sophomore, Junior, or Senior in a Bachelors or Masters degree program for Computer Science, MIS, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- A minimum 3.0 GPA.
- Ability to work 38.75 hours per week.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- A commitment to providing trustworthy, attentive, and resourceful customer service.
