About the role#
This internship provides hands-on exposure to the distribution side of the mutual funds and investment management business. You will work with Internal Sales Management and Internal Business Consultants to understand sales strategies, client engagement, and business development. This role is a full-time, paid position for the Summer 2027 term.
What you'll do#
- Assist Internal Sales Management and consultants with daily tasks and ongoing projects.
- Conduct research, prepare reports, and maintain competitive intelligence to support sales strategies.
- Coordinate advisor events and manage Continuing Education reporting.
- Participate in roundtable discussions, feedback sessions, and collaborative projects with other interns.
- Build financial literacy by engaging with professionals to understand products, markets, and sales approaches.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Demonstrated interest in capital markets and sales within the financial services industry.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong written and oral communication, organizational, and relationship management skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- High motivation, quick learning, and the ability to adapt to new settings.
- Creative problem-solving skills and a positive attitude.
- Previous internship or work experience in sales, finance, or investment management is preferred.
