About the role#
This internship provides an opportunity to perform radiographic procedures under the direction of a Certified Radiographer. Interns will exercise independent judgment and initiative to achieve quality examinations while maintaining responsibility for procedures within the designated work area.
What you'll do#
- Transfer and position patients, including the use of immobilization devices as needed.
- Select proper technical factors on an individual patient basis.
- Operate equipment to produce quality radiographic images.
- Maintain safety regulations, including radiation protection for patients and yourself.
- Practice sterile techniques and universal precautions to maintain a sanitary environment.
- Document patient activity using the required computer systems.
- Assess and interpret patient age-specific data to provide appropriate treatment across the life span.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a student in an accredited radiologic technology program.
- Satisfactory completion of all clinical competency requirements within your program.
- Knowledge of growth and development principles across the life span.
- Commitment to safety, error reduction, and infection control standards.

- Schedule: PRN, evening shift with rotational holidays
