About the role#
This internship provides an opportunity to perform radiographic procedures under the direction of a Certified Radiographer. You will work in a clinical setting, exercising independent judgment to ensure quality examinations while maintaining departmental standards and safety protocols.
What you'll do#
- Transfer and position patients, including the use of immobilization devices as needed.
- Select appropriate technical factors for individual patients and operate imaging equipment to produce quality radiographic images.
- Document patient activity using designated computer systems.
- Maintain strict safety regulations, including radiation protection for yourself and patients.
- Practice sterile techniques and universal precautions to ensure a sanitary environment.
- Assess patient needs based on principles of growth and development across the life span.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited radiologic technology program.
- Documented completion of all clinical competency requirements within your program.
- Knowledge of radiation safety standards and sterile technique.
- Ability to interpret age-specific data to provide appropriate patient care.
- Commitment to safety regulations and the reduction of medical errors.

- Location: Lebanon, Pennsylvania.
- Schedule: PRN, evening shift, with rotational holiday requirements.
- Modality: On-site.
- Compensation: This is a paid position.
