About the role#
This Pharmacy Intern position supports the professional functions of the pharmacy department. It is designed for students currently pursuing a career as a Pharmacist, with work typically occurring during summer months and academic breaks.
What you'll do#
- Procure and distribute medication orders based on requests from physicians or pharmacists.
- Maintain appropriate stock levels of medications and necessary supplies.
- Assist with the daily operations of the pharmacy department.
- Provide drug information, monitor drug therapy, and conduct medication use reviews.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
Location & details#
- Location: York, Pennsylvania.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Schedule: This is a PRN position with varying shifts, including day shift (6:15 am to 2:45 pm), second shift (2:00 pm to 10:30 pm), and weekends.
