About the role#
As a Pharmacy Intern at CVS Health, you will work under the supervision of a preceptor to assist the pharmacy team. You will play a part in delivering patient care and supporting pharmacy operations in a community setting. This position is part-time and offers opportunities for professional development through the ExperienceRx program.
What you'll do#
- Participate in the prescription filling process.
- Provide patient counseling and assist customers with questions.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
- Offer health screenings and immunizations when appropriate.
- Manage pharmacy inventory.
- Support patient safety initiatives and follow regulatory requirements.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a School of Pharmacy.
- An active Pharmacy Intern license in the state of employment.
- No pending felony charges or convictions for criminal offenses involving controlled substances.
- You must not be on the DEA Excluded Parties List.
Location & details#
- Location: Dana Point, California.
- Work modality: On-site.
- Pay range: $16.00 to $23.10 per hour, depending on year in school and other factors.
- Employment type: Part-time.
