About the role#
As a pharmacy intern, you work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to support our retail pharmacy operations. You play a role in patient care by managing pharmacy workflows, inventory, and regulatory requirements. This position requires a focus on patient safety, quality assurance, and providing a high level of customer service.
What you'll do#
- Ensure a safe and effective pharmacy environment.
- Manage patient care programs and assist with pharmacy professional practice.
- Lead with empathy and compassion for patients, caregivers, and colleagues.
- Foster a team culture that values energy, enthusiasm, and pride.
- Collaborate with the team to improve patient outcomes and align with our purpose.
- Provide patient immunizations once state regulations and eligibility requirements are met.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment or acceptance into an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
- Valid intern or technician licensure, or be in the process of obtaining it.
- Between 0 and 3 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to complete all required training within state guidelines.
- Physical ability to remain upright for long periods, reach overhead, stoop, and lift up to 20 lbs.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
