About the role#
As a Pharmacy Intern, you will work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to support the operations of a retail pharmacy. You will assist in maintaining a safe environment while delivering care to patients. This role involves managing pharmacy workflows, inventory, and patient care programs.
What you'll do#
- Manage patient safety and pharmacy professional practice.
- Maintain regulatory requirements and quality assurance standards.
- Provide customer service and handle inventory and workflow management.
- Adopt and manage patient care programs.
- Lead with empathy and collaborate with your team to improve patient outcomes.
- Facilitate a positive team culture.
- Provide patient immunizations once state regulations are met.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
- Valid intern or technician licensure, or be in the process of obtaining it.
- 0-3 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to complete all required training within state guidelines.
- Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
- Physical ability to remain upright for extended periods, lift up to 20 lbs, and perform tasks requiring finger dexterity and reaching.
- Visual acuity for reading, transcribing, and inspection.
- Immunization eligibility and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite are preferred.

- Compensation: $20.50 - $24.25 per hour.
