About the role#
The Center for Leadership and Civic Engagement (CLCE) is hiring a Project Assistant. This role supports leadership education, training, and development initiatives. You will work with professional staff, student staff, and volunteers to execute and assess various programs. This position involves managing office processes and systems to support leadership and civic engagement needs.
What you'll do#
- Assist Leadership Development Coordinators and the Student Organization Development Coordinator with program execution.
- Collect and analyze formative, process, and summative data to support a data-driven assessment approach.
- Serve on campus committees and represent the CLCE at university events.
- Manage front desk reception duties, including greeting visitors and answering phones.
- Operate general office equipment such as computers, phones, and copiers.
- Use CLCE tech systems, including Microsoft Office 365 and Bulls Connect.
- Attend CLCE training sessions and participate in volunteer opportunities.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as an undergraduate student at the University of South Florida.
- Prior experience with at least one CLCE event or program.
Location & details#
- Location: Tampa, Florida.
- Modality: On-site at the Marshall Student Center.
- Schedule: This role may require work in outdoor environments, as well as attendance at meetings during evenings and occasional weekends.
- Physical requirements: The role involves sitting, standing, and walking. You may need to lift up to 50 pounds.
