About the role#
As a Costuming Project Analyst intern, you will handle project assignments autonomously. Your goal is to identify, develop, and analyze improvement opportunities to increase efficiency within the Costuming organization. This is a full-time, paid internship running from January 2027 through June 2027.
What you'll do#
- Provide consultative support by conducting analysis, including layout optimization, workload planning, inventory forecasting, productivity studies, and project management.
- Recognize and implement process improvements to reduce fiscal spending or increase operational efficiency.
- Build relationships and interact with all levels of Cast Members, ranging from front-line staff to executives.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an accredited college or university pursuing a degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Data Science, or a related field.
- Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools such as Excel, Smartsheet, Tableau, Power BI, SSRS, and SQL.
- Advanced analytical and project management capabilities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with an ability to balance multiple priorities while maintaining confidentiality.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to master new software applications and analytical tools quickly.
- At least 18 years of age with unrestricted work authorization.
- Preferred experience includes knowledge of Walt Disney Parks and Resorts, strong critical thinking skills, and an understanding of the project life cycle.
Location & details#
- Location: Anaheim, California (offsite from the Disneyland Resort in the Anaheim Hills area).
- Term: Winter 2027 (January through June).
- Work Modality: On-site, full-time.
- Compensation: $32.00 per hour.
- Requirements: You must provide your own housing and reliable transportation. You must be available Monday through Friday, with occasional evenings and weekends depending on project needs. You must also comply with The Disney Look appearance guidelines.
