About the role#
The Strategic Development Analytics Intern will support the Strategic Development team in Naples, Florida. This internship provides hands-on experience in strategic planning, data analytics, and corporate development. You will work with our team to help evaluate market trends, support long-range forecasting, and contribute to business planning initiatives.
What you'll do#
- Conduct market analyses using external vendor data to assess growth opportunities.
- Research and synthesize key developments in the orthopedic industry, including competitor performance and market dynamics.
- Present findings through Excel-based data analysis and PowerPoint presentations.
- Maintain and improve forecasting models while identifying opportunities for process automation.
- Assist in the development and enhancement of Power BI dashboards to support business decision-making.
- Participate in departmental meetings and strategic discussions.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a college degree program, specifically as a junior or above. Recent graduates within six months of their graduation date are also eligible.
- Preferred majors include Business Administration, Economics, Statistics, Computer Science, or Data Science.
- Experience with data modeling and analytics.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Basic to intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
- Familiarity with strategic planning methodologies, financial analysis, or data engineering is a plus.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid internship located on-site in Naples, Florida.
- The term runs from May 2027 through August 2027.
- Candidates must be available to work 40 hours per week.
