About the role#
Join our Finance team to shape how AI is used within our organization. You will work with the Director, Finance Process & Systems to build, test, and launch automation tools including Microsoft Copilot and AI agents. This role helps reduce manual effort and improves team efficiency. You will receive an hourly rate between $19.89 and $21.54.
What you'll do#
- Deliver finance automation projects from start to finish by gathering requirements, building, testing, and launching solutions.
- Work closely with the finance team to share progress updates and incorporate feedback into your work.
- Build prototypes using Excel, Copilot agents, and Power Automate.
- Recommend the best tools or approaches for identified areas of improvement.
- Verify AI outputs for accuracy and flag limitations before launch.
- Create user guides and training materials to share your findings with the team.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a post-secondary program in Business, Finance, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- An understanding of finance and accounting processes and how automation supports them.
- Hands-on experience with AI and automation, specifically building Copilot agents and Power Automate workflows.
- Strong data analysis and advanced Excel skills.
- Ability to learn new technology quickly and explain technical ideas in plain language.
- Strong attention to detail and a collaborative approach to problem-solving.

- Location: 100 Midland Drive, Dieppe, New Brunswick.
- Term: Winter 2027 (January to May).
