About the role#
As a Manufacturing Engineering Co-Op at Analogic, you will support various engineering and production initiatives. You will work alongside experienced professionals on projects that contribute to our manufacturing processes. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Salem, New Hampshire.
What you'll do#
- Lead efforts to review and update tolerancing on released assembly drawings using SolidWorks.
- Collaborate with Quality, Design Engineering, and Production teams to ensure engineering changes are documented and compliant.
- Support manufacturing technicians in identifying and implementing process improvements.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret manufacturing data using Minitab and Excel to provide data-driven recommendations.
- Create and maintain manufacturing documentation, including SOPs, work instructions, and process flow diagrams.
- Assist with the maintenance, calibration, and optimization of manufacturing equipment.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and support ongoing production activities.
- Ensure all work follows company safety policies and quality standards.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and production environments.
- Experience with CAD software such as SolidWorks or AutoCAD.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel.
- Familiarity with statistical analysis and problem-solving techniques.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work both independently and within a team.
- Previous co-op, internship, or project experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or ERP systems is a plus.
