About the role#
This is a full-time, six-month internship based in Anaheim, California. You will join the Art Studio/Services and Scenic Fabrication Team to support the design and implementation of scenic elements for live entertainment offerings. The program runs from January 2027 through June 2027.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with clients and designers to turn conceptual art and sketches into detailed scopes of work, budgets, and timelines.
- Consult with Scenic Fabrication shop leads and the Senior Materials & Process Designer to refine project plans.
- Help clients select existing warehouse assets and determine necessary repairs or modifications.
- Submit project estimates and deliverables for client approval.
- Coordinate with various shops to track progress and update production timelines.
- Manage projects through the construction or asset pulling process while keeping clients informed of status updates and changes.
What you'll need#
- Must be a junior, senior, or graduate student enrolled in an accredited college or university.
- Proven ability to interface with clients and translate their creative intent into action items.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Outlook.
- Experience with file-sharing and collaboration tools, plus a willingness to learn new software.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Self-starter mindset with a focus on problem-solving and process improvement.
- Excellent service skills for interacting with Cast, Guests, and Partners.
- Must be at least 18 years of age and possess unrestricted work authorization.
- Compliance with The Disney Look appearance guidelines.
- Valid US driver’s license and the ability to operate a company vehicle.

- Location: Anaheim, CA.
- Term: Winter 2027 (January through June).
- Modality: On-site, full-time (approximately 40 hours per week).
- Compensation: $22.00 per hour.
