About the role#
Astranis is looking for a Content Creator Intern to help tell our story as we scale. You will work with our Creative team to produce content that explains how we build and operate satellites. This hands-on role offers exposure to satellite manufacturing, media strategy, and the daily operations of an aerospace company.
What you'll do#
- Bring creative concepts and scripts to life through video.
- Turn complex technology into engaging stories.
- Film interviews, behind-the-scenes content, and company events.
- Edit footage into long-form and short-form videos.
- Capture video that showcases our satellites, manufacturing processes, and our team.
- Support video shoots by handling camera setup, lighting, audio, and equipment preparation.
- Organize footage, project files, and creative assets to keep workflows efficient.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in film, media production, or a related field, or a recent graduate within the last year.
- A portfolio showcasing your creativity and storytelling through video.
- Basic experience filming and editing, with familiarity with Adobe Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve.
- Interest in the aerospace, technology, or defense sectors.
- Ability to work in the office 5 days a week.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks at once.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate across teams.
- A self-starter mindset with the ability to work independently.

- Location: San Francisco, California.
- Term: Fall 2026.
- Pay: $29.00 per hour.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Employment Type: Full-time.
- Citizenship Requirement: Due to U.S. government space technology export regulations, this position requires U.S. citizenship, lawful permanent residency, or status as a protected individual under 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3).
