About the role#
This internship is a full-time, 12-week position for students currently enrolled in a four-year degree program or recent graduates. You will join an interdisciplinary team to design, build, and test satellite hardware and software. This role provides hands-on experience in satellite development and integration.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with Electrical, Mechanical, Radio Frequency, and Propulsion engineering teams to develop assembly and integration test plans.
- Operate test equipment and instruments, such as thermal chambers, vibration tables, DAQs, and oscilloscopes.
- Coordinate assembly, integration, and environmental test efforts.
- Troubleshoot and solve complex electrical, software, and mechanical problems within integrated systems.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a four-year degree program in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or an equivalent technical field.
- Recent graduation within the last 6 months or current enrollment in a post-graduate program.
- A strong interest in hardware development and hands-on design.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Strong communication skills.
- You must be able to work on-site 5 days a week.
- Applicants must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, or other protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3).
