About the role#
As a Propulsion Manufacturing Intern, you will focus on the practical side of space hardware. You will help design and build the factory environment used to construct our satellites. Your primary goal is to deliver a physical propulsion subsystem, ranging from the tank to the thruster, that is fully prepared for space operations.
What you'll do#
- Design and build the factory floor and systems that produce our satellites.
- Manage the delivery of a physical propulsion subsystem from initial design through to a flight-ready state.
- Work on hands-on design and development tasks.
- Identify and fix broken equipment, inefficient processes, or communication gaps between teams.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering.
- Proficiency in CAD software such as Solidworks, Creo, or NX.
- A strong interest in manufacturing and understanding how things are made.
- Experience with liquid propulsion systems is a plus.
- Familiarity with writing work instructions, test procedures, or using MES/ERP software is helpful.
- Practical experience with welding, machining, or designing components for these processes is beneficial.

- Term: Winter 2027.
- Modality: On-site, full-time.
- Compensation: $29.00 per hour.
- Eligibility: This role requires U.S. citizenship, lawful permanent residency, or refugee/asylee status to comply with export regulations.
