About the role#
As a Hardlines Licensing Intern, you will support the multi-category hardlines business, which includes stationery, outdoor, seasonal, sports, collectibles, and novelties. You will report to the Manager of Licensing Hardlines for Disney and Pixar. This is a full-time, six-month internship running from January 2027 through June 2027.
What you'll do#
- Research and respond to licensee requests to support our partnerships.
- Attend meetings and record notes to keep the category team informed.
- Maintain and update buy boards.
- Manage Box folders containing POS data, orders, pitches, and franchise intel.
- Serve as a liaison for marketing approvals.
- Maintain and distribute licensee lists.
- Collaborate on PR and social media requests.
- Capture data for business analysis, including trend research and retail shopping visits.
- Support the contract and amendment process.
- Create product presentations to showcase various categories.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as an undergraduate senior pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, or Business.
- Excellent digital literacy, including proficiency in Keynote, Microsoft Office, and Microsoft Outlook.
- Experience hosting and attending meetings via Zoom and Teams.
- Meticulous organizational skills with the ability to balance multiple projects.
- A proactive and adaptable approach to problem-solving.
- Prior coursework or internship experience in licensing is preferred.
- Previous participation in the Disney College Program is a plus.
Location & details#
- This role is located in Glendale, California.
- You must be at least 18 years of age with unrestricted work authorization.
- You must be fully available to work 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
- You are responsible for providing your own housing and reliable transportation.
- You must remain compliant with The Disney Look appearance guidelines.
