About the role#
As a Quality Engineer Intern, you will focus on maintaining quality engineering methodologies and systems. You will serve as a quality representative for various initiatives to support site and corporate goals. This role requires you to work in a manufacturing environment to improve processes and ensure products meet critical requirements.
What you'll do#
- Develop and maintain quality engineering practices.
- Provide quality engineering support within the manufacturing environment.
- Work with cross-functional teams to improve manufacturing processes.
- Identify, prioritize, and resolve quality issues using systematic problem-solving.
- Design and develop tooling and equipment for new product manufacturing lines.
- Create inspection systems to ensure products meet standards.
- Assist in developing streamlined business systems.
- Build relationships with professionals across diverse fields.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Mechanical, Biomedical, or Industrial Engineering degree program.
- Graduation date between December 2027 and May 2029.
- Ability to start on May 17th or May 24th, 2027, for a 12-week term.
- Reliable transportation to and from the work site.
- Experience in the medical device industry is preferred.
- Knowledge of statistical analysis and analytical techniques.
- Ability to identify improvement opportunities as a self-starter.

- Location: St. Paul, Minnesota.
- Modality: On-site, five days per week.
- Term: Summer 2027.
- Status: Full-time, paid internship.
