About the role#
The Summer Games is an internship program designed to solve complex, multidimensional problems for our customers. Interns work in teams within a startup-style environment to develop breakthrough ideas. You will receive mentorship from senior leaders and use Booz Allen products to address real-world challenges. The program concludes with a Challenge Cup competition where teams present their work to senior leadership.
What you'll do#
- Develop solutions for pressing customer problems.
- Work in a collaborative team environment.
- Receive guidance and mentorship from senior leaders.
- Solve problems using company products and engagement models.
- Participate in a final Challenge Cup competition and presentation.
What you'll need#
- Experience with programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, C, C++, Assembly, Python, Perl, R, or Bash.
- Experience with machine learning, data mining, statistics, or graph algorithms from academic or internship projects.
- Experience conducting research and writing software.
- Ability to create design artifacts and produce technical documentation.
- Strong critical thinking, analytical, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
- You must be scheduled to obtain a Bachelor’s degree in a Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics field by Summer 2028 or Summer 2029.
