About the role#
The FIS University Summer Internship Program is a full-time, paid opportunity for students to gain hands-on experience in fintech. You will work alongside mentors on team projects and participate in professional development seminars. This internship runs from May 31, 2027, through August 6, 2027.
What you'll do#
- Develop full-stack software solutions for web, cloud, and data platforms.
- Apply machine learning and AI concepts to solve business problems.
- Participate in the entire software development lifecycle, including design, testing, deployment, and improvement.
- Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams in an agile environment.
- Contribute to engineering practices, automation, and system scalability.
What you'll need#
- Bachelor’s degree in progress in computer science, software engineering, computer engineering, data science, or artificial intelligence.
- Status as a rising senior graduating between December 2027 and May 2028.
- Proficiency with AI-enabled tools to assist with productivity and problem-solving.
- Fluency in English with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Adaptability and a strong drive to learn.

- This is a full-time, on-site internship.
- Available locations: Jacksonville, Florida; Atlanta, Georgia; or Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
