About the role#
The Legal and Compliance team at FIS maintains a culture of integrity and ethical business practices. This intern role supports the organization by partnering with business and operational functions to implement compliance programs, monitor risks, and ensure business activities align with internal standards and external regulations.
What you'll do#
- Maintain records and track activities to document adherence to policies and procedures.
- Assist with compliance training administration, including monitoring completion and helping colleagues understand requirements.
- Conduct research to gather information on regulatory requirements and compliance initiatives.
- Help identify, escalate, and track compliance issues while supporting remediation efforts.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to support audits, reviews, and the implementation of compliance controls.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Political Science, Accounting, Finance, or Risk Management.
- Status as a rising senior, with a graduation date between December 2027 and May 2028.
- Basic proficiency with AI-enabled tools.
- Fluency in English with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Adaptability, a drive to learn, and strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work well both independently and within a team.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027, running from May 31, 2027, to August 6, 2027.
- The role is on-site in Jacksonville, Florida; Atlanta, Georgia; or Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
